Popular brand Miniso opened the doors to its new store at a West Lothian shopping centre on Saturday.

The Chinese household shop welcomed customers into the new store at The Centre in Livingston with hoards of shoppers waiting for opening.

It was all in aid of securing a goody bag worth up to £25 after spending £5 within the store with hundreds of customers hoping to be the first inside.

Pictures shared online show the queue stretching outside the store ahead of the doors opening at 12pm.

A Facebook post reads: "Scotland, we're back - and this time in Livingston.

"MINISO has landed at The Centre, bringing plush toys, vinyl blind boxes, stationary and beauty goodies to add a sprinkle of joy to your day.
