A close knit community turned into amateur sleuths after noticing their parcels were going missing. Residents received delivery confirmation notifications from delivery company Evri, including photos of the parcels outside their door, but were left disappointed to find that the packages had disappeared by the time they went to collect them.

CCTV footage captured by residents shows an Evri courier failing to knock on doors or ring doorbells before placing a parcel in front of the door, photographing it, picking the package back up and walking away.

Evri has since confirmed the courier shown in the videos will no longer be delivering on behalf of the firm, saying it has a “zero-tolerance policy towards behaviour of this kind”.
