A Maine man is facing multiple charges after leading police on a multi-state chase from New Hampshire into Maine early Sunday morning.

Shortly after midnight, Maine State Police said they received a call from New Hampshire State Police requesting assistance with a high-speed pursuit. They were trying to stop a Dodge Ram pickup truck due to speeding and erratic driving.

The driver of the pickup, identified by police as 44-year-old Matthew Olsen, of Harrison, Maine, had refused to stop for a local police department in New Hampshire, and during the chase, he rammed a New Hampshire State Police cruiser.
