ALAMOSA COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) - A man with a felony warrant was arrested Tuesday after a standoff with several law enforcement agencies.
According to the Alamosa County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO), William Redden, 33, was wanted on charges of felony stalking and threats against court personnel.
During a coordinated operation at Redden’s home in Rio Grande County, just northwest of the City of Monte Vista, deputies say Redden presented a handgun when contacted by law enforcement.
The sheriff’s office said Redden fired shots and barricaded himself inside the home, leading to a 40-minute standoff.
Redden eventually surrendered peacefully and was taken into custody without further incident.
He was taken to the Alamosa County Detention Center, where he is being held on a combined $90,000 bond f
