GRAND FORKS — Winter weather in the Midwest has caused the cancellation of an event planned for Sunday, Nov. 30, in Grand Forks.

The Cirque Musica Holiday Wonderland, scheduled to perform at the Alerus Center, will not be held as the tour was hindered by weather attempting to get to Grand Forks from Illinois. The announcement came from the Alerus Center Sunday morning.

"We appreciate your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause," the Alerus Center announcement said.

Additionally, the announcement said that "tickets purchased through Ticketmaster will be automatically refunded over the next few days.
