OCALA, Fla. (WCJB) - Marion County officials are now accepting donations for the community’s annual Bring the Harvest Home holiday food drive.
Donation collection is underway, and residents can brings items to various drop-off locations throughout the county until Dec. 4, or at the Ocala Downtown Square on Dec. 5 from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Donation items include non-perishable food items and household goods, like dry foods, canned meat, canned vegetables and fruits, baby items and toiletries.
Each year, Bring the Harvest Home benefits local food pantries and organizations, like Brother’s Keeper, Interfaith Emergency Services, Veterans Helping Veterans and the Salvation Army of Ocala.
