VEAZIE, Maine (WABI) - A beloved local holiday tradition is set to return Monday.

After weeks of set up, the Hathaway holiday lights display outside Veazie community school is ready for another season.

For almost 15 years now, the Hathaway family has put up the display as a way to raise money for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor.

More than 100,000 lights are controlled by more than 500 channels of animation.

You can walk through the display or enjoy it from your car by tuning your radio to 88.1 FM.

The display is set to open at 4:30 p.m. Monday afternoon and will run every night through Christmas.
