On Monday at 12:17 a.m. a freeze warning was issued by the National Weather Service valid for Tuesday, Dec. 2 between 1 a.m. and 8 a.m. for Death Valley National Park.

According to the NWS Las Vegas NV , “Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 30 degrees possible for the first time this season.”

“Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing,” according to the NWS. “Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.”
