There is a chance of snow and possibly ice beginning Monday night through Tuesday morning from Huntington to Charleston.
The National Weather Service in Charleston has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the Tri-State area around Huntington beginning at 11 p.m. Monday through 1 p.m. Tuesday.
Look for rain and freezing rain overnight Monday into Tuesday in the Huntington area with a low around 30. Little or no accumulation is expected. Rain or snow could continue through the morning Tuesday. Snow accumulation of less than a half inch is possible.
The Charleston area will stay a bit warmer Monday night and should see rain beginning early on Tuesday with a low around freezing. Then there is a chance of snow Tuesday between 1-4 p.m. Little or no snow accumulation is expected.
