TOLEDO, Ohio — Gas prices in the Toledo area ease up as they continue on a downward trend.

Average gasoline prices fell more than 26 cents in the last week, according to a GasBuddy analysis.

A gallon of gasoline, on average, costs $2.59. This number is more 34 cents lower than a month ago and over 37 cents lower than a year ago.

GasBuddy said in a press release that gas prices ranged between $2.17 on the low end to $3.01 on the high end, a difference of 84 cents per gallon.

The national average went down 8.5 cents, averaging $2.95 per gallon. It is down almost 7 cents from a month ago and nearly 5.5 cents from a year ago.
