On Oct. 16, with just 15 days to go on a conditional sentence he received in March, Kyle St. Germaine made a big mistake.

St. Germaine barged into the home where his ex-spouse was living, pushing her out of the way.

Not only did police charge St. Germaine with assault, they also charged him with breaching his conditional sentence order.

In custody at the Sudbury Courthouse, St. Germaine, 30, pleaded guilty to assault.

“I’m sorry for my actions and, hopefully, I get back with my family,” he told Ontario Court Justice Graham Jenner.
