LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The regular seasons are over for the Kentucky and Louisville volleyball teams, and up next is the 2025 NCAA Tournament. Both teams learned their first-round opponents Sunday night in the NCAA Selection Show.
Qualifying for their 21st straight NCAA Tournament, head coach Craig Skinner's Wildcats (25-2, 15-0 Southeastern Conference) earned the No. 2 overall seed in the 2025 NCAA Volleyball Championship and are the No. 1 seed in the Lexington Regional. The Wildcats, along with Nebraska, Texas and Pittsburgh, earned the tournament's top-four seeds, meaning they can host all the way up to the NCAA Final Four as long as they are alive in the tournament.
Top-seeded Kentucky will host fourth-seeded Wofford Thursday, Dec. 4, at 7 p.m. inside the Historic Memorial Coliseum. Shoul
