HOLYOKE, MA (WGGB/WSHM) -- A gun call on Main Street in Holyoke led to one man’s arrest and the seizure of illegal drugs.
Police were called to a gas station in the area Friday around 3 a.m. after someone reported seeing a driver with a gun. The suspect, identified as 37-year-old Santiago Soltren-Ramirez of Holyoke, was pulled over a little while later and arrested after police learned he had a suspended license and was driving an unregistered car.
Officers then found the firearm, which turned out to be a BB gun, as well as narcotics and marijuana.
