OHIO. (WSAZ) - The Ohio Department of Transportation is providing tips for drivers ahead of winter weather expected to affect the state Tuesday.
ODOT is preparing for snow impacting Central Ohio, with more than 200 crews working around the clock to plow and salt interstates, U.S. routes, and state routes.
The most intense snowfall and slick conditions are expected late Monday night into Tuesday morning for drivers, ODOT said.
Drivers should plan ahead, leave early, and plan for a slower commute.
ODOT says if you are driving Tuesday, reduce speed, increase following distance, and give ODOT crews space to work.
Drivers can check real-time road conditions before their commutes by checking OHGO .
