PHOENIX (AZFamily) — The Phoenix Police Department has released the names of two motorcyclists killed in a chaotic shooting that ended in a crash near downtown Phoenix on Friday night.
Just before 11 p.m., first responders rushed to 7th Avenue, just off Interstate 17 , on reports of a shooting where investigators said motorcyclists were stopped at a red light when a fight broke out.
Investigators said the two bikers, identified as Job Martinez, 53, and Scott Kikes, 36, were stopped at a red light when they began fighting. Moments later, Martinez then shot Kikes multiple times, police said.
Police are still investigating what led to the initial fight.
A third man, who witnessed the shooting, reportedly struck Martinez with his car. That driver was detained for questioning and later
