BLACK HAWK COUNTY, Iowa — Voters in Black Hawk County are heading to the polls for a run-off election. They will decide on two city council races in Waterloo and Cedar Falls, as well as the mayoral race in Waterloo.
Incumbent Quentin Hart and City Councilor Dave Boesen are both seeking votes in the mayoral race. Auditor Karen Showalter expects voter turnout to match levels seen in November.
"I just wanted to make people aware that there's the vote centers," Showalter said. "Not all the locations will be open like they were in November so we're using vote centers."
Voters are encouraged to check the location of their vote center before heading out to cast their ballots. The locations can be found by clicking HERE .
