Birmingham City battled to another home victory over Watford to reach seventh in the Championship standings on Monday night.

Paik Seung-ho and Demarai Gray’s classy first half strikes ensured Othmane Maamma’s second half goal was only a consolation.

Blues had to deal with an onslaught from the Hornets in the closing stages but they clung on for a sixth victory from nine league games at St Andrew’s.
