A winter storm warning was issued by the National Weather Service on Tuesday at 5:18 p.m. in effect until Wednesday at 1 a.m. for Saratoga, Schenectady, Albany, Rensselaer, Greene, Warren and Washington counties.
The weather service adds to be ready for, "Additional snow accumulations up to 1 inches inch."
"Travel will continue to be slow and slippery this evening. Drive and walk cautiously giving yourself extra time to reach your destination," explains the weather service. "If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency."
