PORT ALLEN, La. (WAFB) - An investigation is underway after someone was hit in the face with a beer bottle in Port Allen, police said.

According to the Port Allen Police Department, the incident happened late Saturday night, November 29, at French Quarter Bar and Daiquiri on South Alexander Avenue.

The person who was hit suffered injuries to the face, investigators said.

Police said they were looking to identify two people in connection with the incident. A woman has been identified, but investigators need help to determine the identity of the second person.
