RICHMOND, Ky. —

A Kentucky man who drives for Uber is facing charges after he allegedly sexually assaulted an intoxicated passenger.

Clifford Partin, 61, is charged with rape and sodomy.

Richmond police say Partin was giving the victim a ride in August. During the ride, she lost consciousness and when she woke up the car was parked in a secluded area of a parking lot.

The victim told police she got out of the car and ran home.

Police said GPS trip data from Uber aligned with the victim's account. Additionally, surveillance footage from a nearby business confirmed the car was parked for around 25 minutes.
