Sun Valley Community School boys and girls soccer players finished successful seasons in October. Several have been named to postseason honor lists.
Freshman defender Wells Dolson made the Idaho 4A girls first team for the 2025 All-Idaho list chosen by Gem State soccer coaches in cooperation with the Idaho Statesman newspaper.
The Cutthroat girls (17-5), High Desert Conference tournament champions 3-2 over Kimberly, went on to capture the state 4A consolation trophy with 5-1 and 7-1 wins over Timberlake and American Falls.
Winning the state 4A tournament for a third straight year was Sugar-Salem of Sugar City (18-0-0, outscoring opponents 150-7) behind its Coach of the Year Scott Terry and Player of the Year Kamryn Teichert (32 goals).
