Project in focus: A duplex in the south Mumbai neighbourhood of Worli . It is a contemporary space that gives expression to the homeowners’ love for literature and art. The lower level is for the public spaces, with interconnected living and dining areas and a wood-panelled bar, and connects to the upper level via a sculptural staircase. This home for bibliophiles does justice to their love for literature with a library as well as bookshelves that extend through the home. Wood is used liberally and in unique ways while the chosen artworks add colour and character.
