Landlords at a town pub have announced they are leaving following a "traumatic" hammer incident.
The Bear and Bells in Beccles was forced to close last month after two men entered the venue with one pulling out a hammer.
Police arrested two suspects at the scene who have since been released on bail.
The landlords have now announced they are leaving the pub, but they had made their decision to quit before the incident had occurred.

John Greig, who ran the business with three other people, said: "With the brewery still unable to confirm the long-term future of the pub, we felt this was the right moment to step back and allow whatever comes next to take shape.
