A cruel Kilmarnock man has been sentenced following a Scottish SPCA probe into the gross neglect that led to the death of a dog . William Robert Purdie Allan appeared at the town's sheriff court on November 21, where he was fined £1,575.
Having not sought time to pay the fine, he is serving the alternative of 45 days imprisonment . He was also banned from owning animals for 10 years after ailing to meet the basic welfare needs of his bull breed type dog called Bruce for several months, ultimately leading to its death.
