A stolen vehicle that was being driven with two blown-out tyres and no number plates was spotted by an off-duty police officer in Gloucester.

The vehicle was being driven through Tuffley at around 9.30pm on Monday, December 1.

An off-duty police officer, from Gloucestershire Police , saw the vehicle which had two blown-out tyres and no number plates, which was suspected to be stolen.

Two males exited the car and the officer detained one of them, who was subsequently arrested .

He was found to be in possession of the car key, part of the number plate and a quantity of class B drugs.

Police conducted a vehicle check which flagged that the vehicle was previously reported as stolen following a burglary in Matson in November. I
