A man who punched a woman and pushed her down a flight of stairs has been jailed.

Jake Morris subjected his victim to a prolonged attack where she was struck around the head and then pushed down concrete stairs, at a property in Worcester on Tuesday (Dec 2).

Morris, 30, was arrested by West Mercia Police and remanded in police custody overnight before his court appearance this morning.

Morris, of Bromwich Road, Worcester was found guilty of ABH for which he was sentenced to 34 weeks, and two counts of assault and battery at Kidderminster Magistrates Court.
