There's still a lot to determine when it comes to rain for the Manning Family Children's Holiday Parade. As of Wednesday, all models are agreeing that rain is likely before the start of the parade. Some models are showing clearing at the start, while others show rain the entire time. The confidence will grow as we get closer.

Our in-house model shows rain first thing Saturday morning with rain not clearing until noon. Showers are projected to return by 3 p.m.
The GFS or American model also shows rain first thing Saturday morning, and pretty much sticking around throughout the day.
The European model keeps New Orleans dry until 9 a.m. then light showers at the start of the parade, possibly picking up in intensity at the end of the event.
