A DMV in Cleveland is temporarily closed after a young driver hit the front side of the building.

Officers with the Cleveland Police Department responded to 301 James Asbury Drive just before 3:30pm on Tuesday, December 2, according to a crash report obtained by Local 3 News.

The driver, a minor, told officers she accidentally pressed the gas instead of hitting the brake, and collided with the building.

Nobody was injured, but the car had to be towed.

The building sustained at least $400 in damage, the report says.

The Tennessee Department of Safety said the location will be closed on Wednesday, December 3.

It's unclear if it will reopen the next day.
