A judge has issued a stern warning to Jake Duffy, one of the intended victims of a shooting carried out by Connor Chapman, urging him to "improve his attitude".

The incident took place at the Lighthouse pub in Wallasey, Wirral, and tragically resulted in the death of 26 year old Elle Edwards on Christmas Eve 2022.

The shooting occurred a day after Duffy, then aged 22, and Kieran Salkeld, 28, were involved in a violent assault on Sam Searson on Highfield Road in Rock Ferry. This attack was caught on a Ring doorbell camera, leading to the perpetrators being sentenced to 20 and 27 months in prison respectively, reports the Liverpool Echo .
