Parents in Britain will soon be able to use loyalty cards and other vouchers at supermarkets to purchase baby formula, after the Prime Minister announced a reform at Prime Minister's Questions (PMQs).

Yesterday, December 3, the leader of the Labour Party said the change could mean families can save up to £500 prior to their child's first birthday.

The Prime Minister described how for "too long" parents and guardians have been paying over what is required for baby formula.

He said: "For too long, parents have been pushed into spending more on infant formula than needed, told they're paying for better quality, and left hundreds of pounds out of pocket.
