Starting Thursday, construction crews will install drainage and street improvements along Autumn Road between Chenal Parkway and Birchwood Drive in west Little Rock.

The southbound lane of Autumn Road will be closed south of Birchwood Drive during the 60-day construction period, according to a news release from the city of Little Rock.

Motorists traveling south on Autumn Road will be detoured to West Markham Street, then to South Shackleford Road, and those driving north on Autumn Road will remain in that street's northbound lane.

Those who live in the construction zone will be provided access to their homes during the construction period, according to the news release.
