A Suffolk family says they are “over the moon” after their beloved Mabel was found alive more than a hundred miles away - however her puppies remain missing.
Mabel was discovered on Wednesday dumped in a garden in Wouldham, Kent.
Mabel was collected by a Sevenoaks dog warden and the police investigation into her theft is ongoing.
For owner Simone Devorty, and her daughter Alisha Clack, the reunion has brought huge relief after the fear and heartbreak of her loss.
Speaking after collecting Mabel, Alisha said the family were “so thrilled” to have her back.
“We are over the moon,” she said. “It’s such a lovely outcome for Mable – she’s okay, and we’re just so grateful.
"But we would really like to keep pushing this story, because her puppies are still out there somewhere."
