A man has been indicted on a murder charge 31 days after the shooting death of a 25-year-old man in Killeen.
On Wednesday, a Bell County grand jury indicted William Arturo Scott, 36, on one count of murder and one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Scott, who was shot by police after allegedly firing at officers, was booked into the county jail on Nov. 7. He was being held on Thursday with a bond of $2 million on the first-degree felony charge.

On Nov. 2, Vincent Abenoyap Mbo was shot and killed and another man was fired upon during the same alleged incident. According to an arrest affidavit, the three men were roommates at a residence in the 600 block of Blake Street.
