A truck was hit Wednesday morning by the Amtrak Mardi Gras Service train in Mobile County. Its two passengers walked away without injuries.

According to a release issued by Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Devon Goodwin, of Coden, was driving a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado on Irvington Bayou La Batre Highway near Park Boulevard Wednesday morning when his vehicle was struck by the train while attempting to cross the track.
