FALMOUTH, Mass. —
Officer Kevin Frye Jr. was placed on paid administrative leave following an "incident" in a different town on Oct. 13, according to the Falmouth Police Department.
A spokesperson said the department became aware of the incident involving Frye the following day and immediately opened an investigation and put him on leave.
Police did not provide details of the incident, referring all comments to the Plymouth County District Attorney's office.
Frye returned his service weapon and all other department-issued equipment pending the outcome of the criminal case and internal investigation, according to officials.
