A developer is looking to buy an 81-unit Section 8, affordable housing property in Gastonia and hopes to borrow $19 million in bonds from the Gastonia Housing Authority for the purchase and renovation.

According to city documents, Related Affordable, a branch of the larger development agency called Related Companies, is looking to purchase the Hoffman Homes housing development located at 2263 Cordoba Street in Gastonia.
