WILTON, Iowa (KWQC) - Wilton police say a driver was lucky to escape major injuries after a crash with a train.

A video shared by the Wilton Police Department shows a train hitting the back of an SUV as the SUV crossed a rail crossing.

Wilton police said the driver had no major injuries, but urged drivers to pay attention at all rail crossings.

“Arms or no arms, please know your surroundings and pay attention to warning devices,” said Wilton Police Chief David Clark on Facebook.
