We are giving you the FIRST ALERT to a quiet evening.
Now that the snow has exited out of Eastern Kentucky, we can now turn our attention to the weekend where we will start to warm up.
Saturday will be the pick of the weekend with a mixture of sun and clouds.
Highs will make it into the low 40s.
The first half of Sunday will be okay and with highs in the mid 40s, but a chance of a wintry mix will pick up in the evening and overnight hours.
We will watch a front swing through Sunday Night and into the day on Monday, dropping temperatures with highs in the low to mid 30s.
Then we rebound back up into the 40s and even low 50s by Wednesday before we drop the temperatures again by this time next week and increase the shower chances.
If you have plans to travel this evening, please be car
