MIDLAND, MI — MyMichigan Health will consolidate leadership across four medical centers under a unified model aimed at improving operations and patient care, announced officials with the health system.

Effective Feb. 1, 2026, Chuck Sherwin will serve as president of MyMichigan Medical Centers in Midland, Alma, Clare and Mount Pleasant, MyMichigan officials said.

Sherwin currently leads the Midland facility and will expand his responsibilities following the retirement of Marita Hattem-Schiffman, who oversaw the Alma, Clare and Mount Pleasant locations.

The change represents MyMichigan Health’s continued shift toward centralized leadership, with one president overseeing multiple facilities rather than each medical center having separate leadership.
