MISHAWAKA, Ind. (WNDU) - It’s the season of giving and Marian High School is getting into the holiday spirit.

The collection period for the annual ‘Toys for Tots’ drive is officially underway.

Members of the Marian High School football team were up early assisting in the toy collection process.

For weeks community members have been collecting toys and dropping off cash donations for the drive.

And Saturday, Marian High School will drop off all their donations!

The school’s superintendent says this project is a part of what makes the school special.

“Part of our mantra here is learn, love, and lead. We are serving the community here. I probably have a couple thousand dollars here to donate. We have hundreds of toys to donate and that’s just part of what we do here at Marian High Schoo
