ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Former St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner will once again face potential discipline next week.
Officials will hear evidence accusing Gardner of additional misconduct, which could cost St. Louis’ former top prosecutor her law license.
Gardner previously faced a legal ethics case in 2022 when officials claimed she committed misconduct during the prosecution of former Gov. Eric Greitens in 2018.
The Missouri Supreme Court reprimanded her and ordered Gardner to pay back more than $5,000.
The fine Gardner paid tough, led to more legal issues. She admitted in 2024 she used public funds to reimburse herself for the fine she paid.
Officials who discipline attorneys in Missouri now say that was yet another ethics violation.
