SEATTLE — More than 10,000 Seattle City Light customers and another 7,000 Puget Sound Energy customers were without power on Friday night amid a Wind Advisory issued by the National Weather Service.
Seattle City Light reports the bulk of the outages are in West Seattle and South Seattle. Most of the outages were restored by 11 p.m. on Friday night.
Puget Sound Energy reports outages in central and south Kitsap, as well as portions of King and Pierce counties.
A Wind Advisory is in effect until midnight for Seattle and the lowlands of southern King County and Pierce County. The National Weather Service warns of wind gusts of up to 45 mph and sustained winds of up to 25 mph.
Meanwhile, western Washington residents are in for more rain and snow in the mountains .
