WESTMINSTER, Colo. (KKTV) - Colorado State Patrol is investigating after a pedestrian was killed in a crash on Friday.
State Patrol said a City of Westminster employee was driving a city-owned Ford F250 northbound on North Sheridan Boulevard south of West City Center Drive just before 5:30 when he struck a pedestrian.
Investigators said the pedestrian died at the scene.
According to State Patrol, witnesses of the crash reported that the pedestrian had run into traffic.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
