Cameron Sweeney became Hershey boys basketball’s all-time winningest player as the Trojans beat Shippensburg 66-26 in the opening round of the Hershey Tip Off Tournament Friday.
Sweeney, who led the game with 29 points, reached 70 career wins, breaking a tie with his brother, Marcus Sweeney, and Matt Banas. Sweeney is 20 points away from reaching 1,000 in his career.
Jack Zakovitch added 13 points for the Trojans.
Brady Morris led Shippensburg with nine points.
Hershey will face Lampeter Strasburg in the next round.
