A former director of Black Sheep Brewery has spoken to Patrick Gouldsbrough about his fears for the future of the once 'proud and independent institution.'
BLACK Sheep Brewery is a brand synonymous with North Yorkshire ales –and pints of its original offering, Black Sheep Ale, is pulled from casks in pubs across the region.
But concerns have been mounting for the future of the brewery after a notice of intention (NOI) was filed at the end of November – potentially allowing administrators to be called.
Currently, parent company Keystone Brewing Group stresses Black Sheep Brewery, based in Masham, is operating as normal.
