A woman has been arrested after £1,000 worth of goods were stolen from Stratford Christmas market.
The theft came to light in a roundup issued by Warwickshire Police. They said a team had been on patrol at the market when they found a woman believed to have stolen the items.
Stratford Christmas Market is one of the most popular festive markets in the county. The first weekend it ran this year, last weekend (Saturday, November 29 and Sunday, 30), it drew almost 130,000 visitors.
It returns this weekend, Saturday, December 6 to Sunday December 7. It opens slightly later than expected today at 12pm due to weather related issues during the build.
It closes at 8pm and returns tomorrow from 10am to 5pm.
