A scheming care home boss who forged a pensioner’s will to steal £178,000 has been jailed for more than five years. Jamiel Slaney-Summers, 65, along with Graham Walker, 74, his wife Lyn, 71, plotted to scam frail 85-year-old Rita Barnsley.

Police said it was one of the UK's biggest elder fraud cases. The trio - who ran Amberley Care Home in Brierley Hill, West Midlands - drew up a "dodgy" will to snatch Ms Barnsley's £178,000 lifesavings.

They plotted to get the lion's share of the estate made up of the value her £150,000 house and £28,000 in savings. The will, described in court as a "sham", was riddled with different handwriting and coloured pens.
