(NewsNation) — Frozen dog food sold in California and 13 other states is being recalled due possible plastic contamination.

Fromm Family Foods of Mequon, Wisconsin, initiated a voluntary recall Wednesday of some of its Bonnihill Farms cooked frozen dog food after owner complaints.

So far, there are no reports of illness or injury reported from consumers, according to the FDA.

The potentially contaminated dog food was distributed in California, Arizona, Colorado, Oregon, Washington, Illinois, Wisconsin, Texas, Arkansas, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Nevada and Alaska.

The product, Bonnihill BeefiBowls Beef Recipe, is packaged in 16 oz. chubs with “best by date” 12/25/2026. The product’s UPC code is 072705135004.
