When Bella Day purchased a pair of high heels from a charity shop , she had no idea they would turn out to be such a hidden treasure. She discovered the bargain shoes while shopping at a Savers thrift store and noticed they were branded with Manolo Blahnik, a designer name she recognised from Sex and the City.

Eager for her own Carrie Bradshaw moment, she decided to buy the heels for $9 (approximately £6.50). The decision turned out to be a profitable one as she was able to sell the Manolos for way more than what was on the price tag.
