AVONDALE, Ariz. — A 17-year-old girl and a woman were shot in Avondale late Friday night, according to authorities.

The Avondale Police Department said the shooting happened near 107th Ave and MC-85 at around 11:50 p.m.

Police said the teen was shot in the hand and the woman was shot in the leg. Both were taken to the hospital for treatment.
